Soul Dog Tia Returns As Puppy Thira and Mom Recognizes Her Instantly

Mateja felt absolutely lost without her soul dog, Tia. When she first wrote to me to schedule Tia's animal communication session, she asked me to tell Tia....

I need you so very much, Tia. I don't know how to be happy without you. Would you please come back to me - come home?

As an animal communicator who specializes in pet reincarnation - and as a pet parent living with two reincarnated soul pets myself - I knew exactly how she felt. 

Every week, I work with pet parents like Mateja who are grappling desperately with the loss of their soul pet - someone they literally cannot imagine their lives without.

Which makes it even more imperative that we have a pet reincarnation conversation right away to find out their pet's reincarnation plans.

When I tuned in with Tia dog, the first thing I heard was....

I've been waiting for you, dear. 

Next, Tia showed me an image of herself in the spirit space, sitting in the comfiest chair, paws propped up on a little stool as her spirit team fussed over her, pampering and spoiling her in every way possible.

When I asked Tia, "are you planning to come back to Mom again?"

Tia replied,

Granny just needs to put her feet up for a bit."

Then she said, "I will be back," and handed her mom a red flower of promise.

And this is where the story really gets interesting!

If you have been following along with the pet reincarnation series over on my podcast, Let's Talk to Animals, you are likely familiar with the "little packets of clues" reincarnating animals typically provide for their people.

Tia's original packet of clues for mom, Mateja, included a rather precise timeline that seemed to work out to about 8 months from her date of passing before she would reincarnate back, putting her return in late summer.

So imagine our surprise when the original packet of clues led Mateja to what appeared like a fork in the pet reincarnation road.

Even while Mateja was devotedly pursuing clues that related to a young yellow girl puppy and included cryptic intel about a preference for sardines....

Another puppy, a midnight black girl dog with the name Thira, began to pop up in Mateja's social feeds.

This puppy captured Mateja's attention. There was something so familiar about this puppy!

Mateja couldn't help but notice their names were only two letters different - Tia (her soul dog in spirit) and Thira (new puppy).

Oddly, all six of the other puppies in Thira's litter had been placed for more than a month. But somehow, this little girl remained unclaimed. Why was no one adopting her? Could she be waiting for someone....?

Understandably confused, Mateja reached out to me again for a check-in with Tia. Had her plans changed?

I was as curious to find out as Mateja was!

As I tuned in with Thira, it felt like clouds of confusion evaporated.

The first image that crossed my inner landscape was one of Mateja on top of a high hill. She was sitting with Tia, arm around Tia's neck, just relaxing together surrounded by lavender in full bloom. The feeling was one of total peace.

However, when I tuned in with the other young yellow girl puppy and her mom, Lucky, the emotion was one of chaotic confusion.

Then Tia gave me a message for Mateja. She said....

Tell Mom she needs to be kinder to herself and to give herself more credit.

Tia's message pinpointed the most valuable part of the experience for Mateja - to trust in her own intuition.

Tia wanted to teach her mom to lean in when she felt drawn in a certain direction and to trust herself to take one step in that direction, wait for more inner guidance, and then take another step.

With this as guidance, I encouraged Mateja to reach out to the breeder and inquire about a meeting with Thira puppy.

As it turned out, the breeder not only responded with a meet-and-greet opportunity that very next morning, but shared that if Mateja felt it was a fit, she could take Thira home that same day!

The next day, Mateja wrote to me with the happiest news.

Thira was in fact Tia! Her soul dog was finally HOME again - and 3 months ahead of schedule!

As Mateja went on to share with me, there were immediate and recognizable signs that Tia was definitely Thira.

• Thira was a handful, just like Tia had been as a puppy - but she recognized her mom right away and ran right to her.
• During the car ride home, Thira was sick on the curvy roads but fine on the freeway....just like Tia.
• When they got home, Thira became Mateja's shadow, following her everywhere, just as Tia had done.
• And when Thira finally fell asleep with Tori, Mateja's other dog, she slept on Tori's right side, just as Tia had always done.
• There were many more signs as well - even down to the colors of the collar Thira was wearing in her online puppy photos.

Perhaps most wonderfully, because of this joyful reunion experience with Tia/Thira, Mateja tells me she is now considering learning animal communication herself.

This is always a primary motivation for our soul pets. They want us to know how powerful, how intuitive, how connected we truly are. They want us to wake up to our inner gifts and learn to trust ourselves, just like Tia told her mom - you need to be kinder to yourself and give yourself more credit.
