I didn’t think I could do this, but I learned that as you age it’s important to try things out of your comfort zone. This certainly was. It was the beginning of an amazing journey that I will continue. Life changing. I have no background or certification in anything that would qualify me to communicate with animals. Fortunately, just showing up with your heart and mind willing and open and being guided by a mentor is all you need. Using the ideas and insights from our practice circle in my life is invaluable. I’ve been so enriched as I continue to evolve. Things come up in our practice circle that surprise all of us and contribute to our being more aware and better. They are wonderful friends, and I feel comfortable sharing anything with them. Do we all really reach the same animal when we communicate in a circle setting? Yes, most definitely. Shannon always encourages us to say whatever we receive, no matter what it is. I am always so excited when two or more of us receive the same information. In our most recent session two received a yellow stone and two received a clown. But, seriously, a yellow stone and a clown received by more than one of us? Gives me goosebumps sometimes. I’m sure I was not unique in thinking I might not receive anything when I reached out to an animal. Shannon gave me the confidence to accept that no information was information. I always get something, but many times in our first sessions I would say that I didn’t get much. Have no fear of what you will or won’t receive or how the practice circle will accept what you share. We are all on this wonderful journey together. No judgment. The wealth of knowledge Shannon shares and the input from each of us in a practice circle is one of the most rewarding experiences ever. I never imagined how exciting it would be. Hearing an animal’s owner express concerns and worries, then finding some answers is so rewarding. It’s very special when sometimes we receive feedback about how our information was helpful, amazing! It is so special to communicate with your own animals in this unique way. I don’t have a living pet, but several granddogs. It is wonderful to communicate with them, even more special to communicate with my heart dog, who is now with me in spirit.

I began watching and learning from Shannon’s various podcasts many weeks ago. I took notes, rewatched her videos, and signed up for her various courses. I joined the circle of her students, worrying that I wasn’t really communicating with animals, that I wasn’t doing as well as any of the other students, that I was wasting everybody’s time during zoom sessions. HOWEVER! Being in this community circle, which I personally refer to as my Dear Circle, I’ve advanced my animal communication skills. I’ve come to learn not only how to connect with the animals with whom I wish to, I’ve learned that each communicator has their own style. That I’m never wrong, just working with my style, my method, and that I’m not at all wrong. Each communicator has a different gift to bring forward to not only the rest of the students in the group, but also to the pet parent that has asked for the communication. Had I not signed up for the group, there’s really no way I could’ve learned these lessons. I find that all those who have been in our group are all like minded. I feel so safe making comments, voicing any doubts in my style, and having soooo much fun. We are all-accepting of anything that comes up. This allows me to expand my skills. And, when I desperately needed emotional/mental support with one of my own animals, I put out my plea to the group for help and they were there supplying their own expertises. That’s how confident we’ve all become by being in the Circle.

I began teaching animal communication when several of my private pet parent clients asked me to.

I began coaching student practitioners when my graduating animal communication students asked me, "what's next?"

What if I can't attend live?

When are the live Zoom meetings?

$75 a month? That's a lot!

I get it. This Circle isn't for everyone - by design. I see those memberships too where you pay $10 or $30 a month. Heck, there are tons of free Facebook groups you can join where pet parents can submit communication requests and there is little to no supervision from a professional. Those groups are always available if that model works for you.

But here's the deal. How serious are you about growing your skillset, honing your craft, truly being of service to the animals and their humans?

If you are truly dedicated to your growth and evolution as a communicator, how much time and energy would it take for you to 1) source a variety of animal species from around the world to practice with, 2) make sure their humans are on board with animal communication and understand how to provide useful feedback, 3) coordinate the logistics for your communication with the animal and their person (time/date, time zone, questions, photos, Zoom links, etc), 4) find an experienced mentor to get answers to your questions and guidance when you get stuck in the middle of an interspecies conversation.....
